9 Things You Can Do During A Full Moon

When the moon is full, the sun and the moon are facing each other. This happens every 28-30 days. A Full moon is the time to harvest the seeds of intention you have planted during the corresponding New Moon six weeks earlier. It is a time for completion and creative expressions.

Here is a list of 9 things you can do during a Full Moon.

1. Cleanse/Bless your home

The Full Moon brings intense energy, cleansing your space allows you to release, let go and remove built up energy. Cleanse your home, rearrange furniture and refresh your space. Burn Sage or Palo Santo and say a mantra like “I release anything that doesn’t serve me”

2. Empower your Crystals

Crystals take energy from their environment and us so it is very important to cleanse and recharge your crystals. A Full Moon is the perfect time to charge your crystals. I usually sit my crystals outside (on any natural surface) under the moon light or if I cannot place them outside I put them on the window seal so they can still soak up energy from the moon. Bring your crystals back in the next morning and charge them with your intention.

3. Relax

This is a good time to disconnect and relax. Notice things within that you have paid attention to like thoughts, feelings, and emotions. It is also a good idea to journal.

4. Be Grateful

Show gratitude. Write down everything you are grateful for during this time, then read your list.

5. Meditate

Because of how intense the energy from the Full Moon is this is the perfect time to meditate. Your meditation may be deeper during this time. Meditate alone or with a group of people.

6. Say Affirmations for Abundance

Affirmations are always good. Write down and say affirmations for abundance like

“There is unlimited abundance in all aspects of my life.”

“I resonate in harmony with the vibration of abundance and success.’

7. Moon Bathe

Connect with nature. Light up the fire pit and sit outside under the stars or just sit under the stars no fire needed. Breathe deep and soak up the moons energy to recharge yourself.

8. Cleansing Bath

Fresh Rose Petals, Pink Himalayan sea salt and warm water. Light candles and enjoy a cleansing bath.

9. Forgive & Release

Let go and release things you have been holding on to that do not serve you. Make a list of the things you want to release then close your eyes and visualize yourself letting go each thing one by one. When you are finish burn the list.
